Innovative Microneedling Treatments

Microneedling is one of the most effective treatments for improving skin texture, reducing scars, and stimulating collagen production. At Face It Franklin Medical Spa, we offer advanced microneedling procedures that deliver remarkable results with minimal downtime. This minimally invasive treatment involves using fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin, triggering the body's natural healing process.

Benefits of Microneedling:

  • Improved skin texture and tone
  • Reduction in the appearance of scars, including acne scars
  • Minimized fine lines and wrinkles
  • Enhanced collagen and elastin production
  • Improved absorption of skincare products

The Microneedling Process

Our micro needling treatments begin with a consultation to assess your skin and determine the best course of action. During the procedure, a numbing cream is applied to ensure your comfort. The micro needling device is then gently moved across the skin, creating controlled micro-injuries that stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin. After the treatment, your skin may appear slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn, but this typically subsides within a few days.

What is RF Microneedling?

RF Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that enhances the traditional microneedling process by incorporating radiofrequency energy. The treatment involves using a device equipped with fine needles that create micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the body's natural healing response, promoting the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for healthy, youthful skin.

The added radiofrequency energy is delivered through the needles into the deeper layers of the skin, providing additional stimulation and tightening benefits. This combination makes RF Microneedling an effective solution for a wide range ofskin concerns.

Benefits of RF Microneedling

RF Microneedling offers numerous benefits, making it a popular choice for individuals seeking significant skin improvements with minimal downtime. Here are some of the key advantages:

Facials Primm Springs, TN

The microneedling aspect of the treatment creates controlled micro-injuries that trigger the skin's natural healing process, leading to increased collagen and elastin production. Collagen is a vital protein that provides structure and firmness to the skin, while elastin helps maintain its elasticity.

Skin Tightening

The radiofrequency energy delivered during the procedure heats the deeper layers of the skin, causing immediate tightening and stimulating further collagen production over time. This helps to firm and lift the skin, reducing the appearance of sagging and improving overall skin tone.

Improved Skin Texture

RF Microneedling is highly effective in improving skin texture and tone. It can reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and enlarged pores, leaving the skin smoother and more refined. The treatment also addresses issues like uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation.

Stretch Marks

This treatment is particularly beneficial for reducing the appearance of acne scars, surgical scars, and stretch marks. The combined action of microneedling and RF energy helps to break down scar tissue and stimulate the growth of new, healthy skin cells.

Minimal Downtime

One of the major advantages of RF Microneedling is the minimal downtime associated with the procedure. Most patients experience mild redness and swelling immediately after treatment, similar to a sunburn, which typically subsides within a few days. This makes it an ideal option for those with busy lifestyles.

Customizable Treatment

RF Microneedling can be customized to suit your specific skin type and concerns. The depth of needle penetration and the intensity of the RF energy can be adjusted to target different areas and achieve optimal results.

The RF Microneedling Procedure

Facials Primm Springs, TN

Consultation

Your RF Microneedling journey at Face It Franklin Medical Spa begins with a comprehensive consultation. Our skilled estheticians and medical professionals will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and goals, and determine if RF Microneedling is the right treatment for you.

Facials Primm Springs, TN

Treatment

On the day of your treatment, a topical numbing cream will be applied to ensure your comfort. Once the skin is adequately numbed, the RF Microneedling device will be gently moved across the treatment area. The fine needles create micro-channels in the skin while simultaneously delivering RF energy into the deeper layers.

Facials Primm Springs, TN

Aftercare

After the treatment, you may experience mild redness, swelling, and a sensation of tightness. These side effects are temporary and usually resolve within a few days. Our team will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing and results. It is important to avoid direct sun exposure and use sunscreen diligently following the procedure.

The entire procedure typically takes about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area and the specific concerns being addressed.

Miranda Lambert is in the process of building a new dream house for her and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, but their current home is sure to hold many fond memories for the couple.

The singer married her husband in an intimate ceremony at her stunning Tennessee home, which comes complete with a 400-acre horse farm, in 2019. It is located near Primm Springs, roughly an hour drive south of Nashville, and luckily for her fans, Miranda has shared several sneak peeks inside on Instagram.

WATCH: Miranda Lambert announces exciting news outside Tennessee home

The home is the epitome of country chic and comes with two impeccably decorated guest cabins, a boathouse, a horse barn, a lake, 75 acres of manicured land and wooded hills, and a six-bay equipment garage with a caretaker apartment located on the top level.

The 3,544 square foot main house features a cozy front porch that overlooks the serene surroundings – which Miranda has said is her favorite place to write her hit songs.

Miranda's home features a spacious kitchen

Inside is decorated with a variety of wood finishes and there is an open plan living room with high, wood-beam ceilings, a cozy fireplace, a leather sofa, and floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light.

The large kitchen features a double turquoise stove, white tiled walls, a breakfast bar, and a colorful array of pots and pans, with stacked shelves for plenty of storage.

Miranda has plenty of room for all of her animals

One of the best features of Miranda's home though is the outdoor space which is abundant with picnic tables, a large fire pit, and a footbridge that leads over to a guest cabin – one of which has a clawfoot tub!

The lake on the property is filled with fish and has its own dock which Miranda uses to stock canoes and kayaks.

Miranda and Brendan married on their farm in 2019

The home holds special meaning for Miranda and Brendan as it is where they married in January 2019. "I was married before, and it was a huge wedding, and everything was very public. So was my divorce," she previously said of her decision for an intimate wedding.

"I learned then that it's not for everybody else. This is my actual life. With Brendan, I made it a point to keep it as private as I could for as long as I could."

Miranda Lambert is fortunate enough to call a sprawling $3.4m property near Primm Springs, Tennessee, home – but it's not where she retreats to when she's looking for inspiration.

The country music singer revealed that she has a "secret hideout" she frequents when she wants to work on new music or revisit memorable moments from her past, and it's just as stunning as the home she shares with her husband Brendan McLoughlin.

WATCH: Miranda Lambert's meteoric rise to fame

In a video shared with People, Miranda gave a glimpse inside her beloved room, which is located in her management office in Nashville.

Giving a tour of the space, which is decorated in neutral hues of cream and beige and features ample seating areas, artwork, a bar, and lush plants, Miranda said: "So, this is my secret hideout… It's where I come to hang and write.

"There's a bar that's really cool [and] this is just this really cool area that's for like, creating, brainstorming, and writing songs. We also keep a lot of memorabilia down here."

Miranda's 'secret hideout' is filled with memorabilia

The walls are covered in Miranda's incredible achievements throughout her career, including framed gold and platinum-selling album covers, her first number one record with her group Pistol Annies, and a giant plaque dedicated to her first number one song, White Liar.

She also has a giant neon pink guitar and matching case that lights up which she used during her performance at the ACM Awards last year alongside Elle King.

The room is decorated in neutral hues

Also taking pride of place is a stunning corset that looks more like a work of art than an item of clothing which she wore over a decade ago during her "Fastest Girl in Town days".

Miranda called the exquisite piece, designed by The Blondes, one of her "most favorite pieces I've probably ever worn".

The singer also shared a glimpse inside her "wardrobe archive where all the history lives".

It features memorable looks from over the years including the nude bandage-style dress she wore on the cover of Four the Record and her fringe embellished jumpsuits she has been favoring of late.

Miranda keeps all her knockout outfits

"Everything here in this room is stuff that I've worn in photoshoots, music videos, album covers, award shows, red carpets dating back to 2008," she explained.

"It's funny when I come back here and look through stuff it brings back so many memories of so many moments in my career. It's really cool to have, and we just keep adding – I can't wait to see what this room looks like in the next decade."

Kingston Springs woman remembers surviving December 2021 tornado

Vicky Primm was trapped under her home in Bell Town after the tornado ripped it from the ground.

KINGSTON SPRINGS, Tenn. (WSMV) - Taking cautious steps forward with the help of a walker, Vicky Primm is making small strides in accepting what she calls her “new norm.”

“I’m not going to be like I used to be,” Primm said. “I’m not the same Vicky Primm anymore.”

As a tornado spiraled toward Bell Town in Kingston Springs in December 2021, Primm sought shelter from her mobile home.

In the past, she would walk across the street to her sister’s home. But this time she said she had fallen asleep and woke up to the tornado warnings.

She grabbed her keys and opened the door right as the tornado came through.

“The wind was just so, so powerful. I just felt like my face was just peeling back, it was just so strong,” Primm said.

RELATED COVERAGE: Woman pulled from mobile home in Kingston Springs

She held on to the concrete stairs to keep from blowing away. But the trailer lifted and landed on her.

She continued, “When I realized I was on the ground, that’s when I said ‘Oh my god, I am pinned up under this trailer.’”

Primm said she could feel the pressure of being crushed but held on to her faith, and realized she could reach her phone in her pocket to call for help.

“I was hollering for help, ‘can somebody help me’ but I was thinking about other people in the community, they needed help too.”

WSMV4 was the only station to capture Primm’s rescue. Photojournalist Thomas Davis had followed the tornado overnight from Dickson into Kingston Springs and was one of the first people on the scene.

First responders lifted the trailer off Primm, saving her life.

“I was waiting for the bright light at the end of the tunnel as they say that you see loved ones when you think you dying, passing away. But I was so glad to see those rescue lights. Phew. I was like ‘oh I’ve been rescued, they know I’m here. Help hath came.’”

RELATED COVERAGE: Kingston Springs tornado survivor still recovering in hospital

Primm was the only reported injured person in Kingston Springs when the EF-2 tornado came through.

From that December night until November 2022, Primm remained hospitalized, being seen at three different facilities.

“I had like crushed pelvis, lower back injuries, foot drop, and so many skin graphs over and over,” said Primm.

She said she underwent at least 25 surgeries in that 11 month span. “That’s the grace of God that I’m not paralyzed.”

Not only was the tornado a terrifying experience, but going into the operating room so many times can be frightening.

“When you lay up for about a year and you’re just looking up, you don’t know the outcome.”

As Primm still finds her footing, she said its a blessing to still be in the land of the living. “I found that my faith was tested, I’m just you know stronger,” she said.

Her message to others is show love, count your blessings, and pay attention to the forecast with a plan.

“If this experience taught me anything it’s always be prepared.”

People in the community may know Vicky Primm best for her 30 years of work at Saint Thomas Hospital as an endoscopy technician or as a minister at Missionary Baptist Church.

A GoFundMe has helped Vicky with medical expenses since that tornado.

Mule Day Wagon Train heads toward Columbia

More than 30 mule skinners rode their Mule-drawn wagons through 22 miles of rural southern Middle Tennessee on Tuesday in the second day of Columbia's Mule Day Wagon Train.

The modern-day caravan traveled on gravel roads in northwestern Maury County cutting into the surrounding region and then returning to a home base in Primm Springs, just outside the Maury-Williamson county line.

“It was a great ride,” James Ray Smith said, wearing a large cowboy hat and holding his two mules by the reins. “There is lot of creeks and great scenery out here.”

As the modern day wagon train traveled the hills of region, it resembled a scene from the era of westward expansion, with mule skinners dressed in denim and cowboy hats. Those similarities were only briefly interrupted by traditional fiddle songs and country tunes being played by battery-powered stereos in some wagons.

The wagon train will make its final trip of the week Wednesday and arrive at the Maury County Park that afternoon, signaling the start of the park's Mule Day celebrations and competitions.

Continuing what has become an annual tradition, Koy R. Flowers was again at the head of the train with his two mules, Pat and Mandy, and flying a Tennessee flag from his wagon.

“I get to see everything first,” joked Flowers, a resident of Clarkrange, Tennessee. “We try to set a pace as we rode across rivers and streams with little traffic.”

In recent years, rain or shine, blistering heat or cold, the wagons have been led into town by the veteran head of the pack. Flowers, who has been participating in the event since the 1980s, leads the caravan of covered wagons, driving his two mules at the front of the long line as it snakes along the region's narrow, picturesque gravel roads.

Flowers says he tries to keep the pace set at about 4 mph, an ideal speed for the mules as they pull the wagons over the long distance.

“They really do a good job with putting all of this together,” Flowers said, as he fed his two mules. They stood in the shade after the long day of riding.

The man putting all of this together, and making sure it continues without any issue is Gary Thrasher. No matter the weather, the wagon train carries on, pulled by the very reason Columbia celebrates and Thrasher at the helm.

This is his seventh Mule Day coordinating the train. He took on the role from longtime Mule Day organizer Dee Cee Neely, who was recognized as the parade's grand marshal in 2018 after years of leading the wagon train and a list of other Mule Day events.

This year, Thrasher says the train will pass over more than a dozen creeks in the modern-day caravan, offering participants a chance to slow down from the business of every day life.

“Families used to load up wagons and travel across the country on covered wagons; the hardships they must have seen, and now we do it for fun,” Thrasher told The Daily Herald. “It is a good feeling that you get when you participate.”

Participants traveled from Iowa and New Mexico to ride Maury County's rural roads.

“It is the all about the enjoyment of being around everybody,” said Chris Baker of Ninemile, Tennessee.

Kelly Kraft first traveled from Iowa to compete in the Mule Pulling completion last year, and decided to return to take part in the wagon train.

“I'm looking to find a new team while I am down here too,” Kraft said.

She has previously competed for world records in the discipline.

Mule Day has been a popular Columbia tradition for nearly 170 years, first starting in the 1840s. It began as “Breeder's Day,” a single-day livestock show and mule market event held on the first Monday in May. But over time, the event evolved into a multi-day festival, attracting thousands of attendees and lasting nearly a week.

The heavy involvement of Maury County's participation in the mule industry caused the event to grow into “one of the largest livestock markets in the world,” for a period of time.

After falling out of the public consciousness for more than three decades and then being revived in the 1970s, Mule Day suddenly gained wider notice in 2006 when the Mule Day Parade was listed in the National Asset Database. The Department of Homeland Security called it a potential terrorism target and the event was featured in a New York Times article.

Mule Day annual draws more than 100,000 visitors to downtown Columbia for the Mule Day Parade and to Maury County Park for the celebration's week of events.

Visitors come from 20 different states, according to records from the Maury County Visitors Bureau.

In total, the event is estimated to bring in $10 to $12 million annually.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Maury County Wagon Train is set to arrive at the Maury County Park and the bulk of the Mule Day events formally begin at 7 a.m. Thursday with breakfast at the Neal Wright Senior Center. Competitions begin at noon with a log pulling event at Maury County Park's Main Arena and the Mini Mania Show at the Old Arena.

The main event, the annual Mule Day Parade through downtown Columbia, is set for 11 a.m. Saturday.

The Tennessee city has long been the capital of country music, and stars including Dierks, Carrie Underwood and Miranda all own properties in the neighboring areas, thanks to sprawling countryside and outdoor living it affords.

Miranda is in the process of building a new dream house for her and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, but in the meantime she is believed to still own a breathtaking abode near Primm Springs, roughly an hour drive south of Nashville.

The home is the epitome of country chic and comes with two impeccably decorated guest cabins, a boathouse, a horse barn, a lake, 75 acres of manicured land and wooded hills, and a six-bay equipment garage with a caretaker apartment located on the top level.
